фота вышла очень живая

но желтая штука как-то слишком сильно отвлекает внимание от модели

безусловно, ведь ты фотал именно девушку, а не желтую фиговину :)

Platen,

You are an excellent portrait photographer. I'm going to keep watching and hopefully some of your composition will rub off on my work. :)

Thank you, James! :)
I greatly appreciate your support!

BTW, I love your pictures from the RMNP! The watermark doesn't help me get the best impression though. I've been to those places when I worked at the YMCA of the Rockies in 2005 and I absolutely love them! Tried to summit the Long's Peak, but failed... Want to come back there someday! Thanks for sharing!

What do you recommend in regards to the watermark? Should I upload low res and no watermark or high res and include the watermark?

Since this is the first place I've displayed my art where it could be purchased or otherwise used...I'm just curious what you advise?

Let me know if you come back to RMNP. ;) Drinks are on me!

I personally cannot perceive a piece of art well when I see a huge standard DA watermark on it... Some artists make their own watermarks and place them individually to each piece in a way they don't overly disturb viewer's attention. Many great artists don't care about watermarking at all. I would prefer a deviation in smaller resolution rather than bigger and watermarked. I put my copyrights to the pictures I post to make it easier to identify the author for people who download pictures to look through them later. By the way, most transparent watermarks are easily erased with specialized software.

When I come back to RMNP, I will let you know! Deal! ;)

I'm just learning Elements 6.0 etc...this is my first manipulation program. How can I create a subtle Copyright watermark like you have on your images?

I have never used Elements... For the copyright watermark I use Photoshop, my watermark is very simple - just plain text, which is transparent.

Platen,

Thanks for the heads up. I Elements is a scaled down version of photoshop. I'll see if I can find it. You just have to love the fact the software didn't come with a manual....amazing isn't it! :) ARGH!

:)

Keep them coming!

Love the angle and the focus. I don't think the blurry background detracts from the image, on the contract it keeps the viewers attention where the action is - model so it's not a distraction. Great shot!

I do enjoy the colors but the concept is blurry, and I noticed the tare in her skirt. interesting
